2. Our Services
SRM Express Couriers Ltd offers same-day, next-day, and scheduled delivery services for documents, parcels, and pallets. We act as an independent courier company and are not affiliated with any postal or logistics corporations unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if the goods being shipped are hazardous, illegal, improperly packaged, or unsafe for transport.
3. Quotations & Payments
All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer at the time of enquiry. Payment terms will be confirmed before dispatch. We may request payment in advance for one-off or new customers. Payment can be made by bank transfer, card, or an approved account arrangement. SRM Express Couriers Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Cancellations & Amendments
If you need to cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after a driver has been dispatched may incur a fee to cover time and mileage costs. Any amendments to bookings (such as address changes or collection times) are subject to availability.
5. Liability & Insurance
We take every reasonable precaution to deliver your goods safely and on time. SRM Express Couriers Ltd carries public liability and goods-in-transit insurance. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the value covered under our insurance unless a higher limit is agreed in writing before collection. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses, or for delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g. weather, accidents, traffic, road closures).
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure all goods are properly packaged and labelled. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate collection and delivery details. If no recipient is available at the delivery address, additional redelivery charges may apply.
7. Data Protection & Privacy
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We only use customer data to process enquiries, bookings, and communication related to our services. We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Our website uses SSL encryption to protect personal data transmitted online.
